PMS Aches & Pains - Ask the Doctor Q & A
I think I've had the last straw with my PMS symptoms and am finally ready to do something about it. I went to the fair all day with my family, but I was in pain and exhausted the whole time. The last thing I wanted was to be on my feet all day, but I didn't want to miss out on time with my family. But I couldn't enjoy it or even get excited about the things my kids were excited about, because I just wanted to sit down. It's really hard to know it's going to be a miserable weekend because you just feel horrible.

Meredith, I can almost hear your frustration—it sounds like you've had it with PMS, and maybe that will be a good thing. Sometimes it takes hitting the wall, or getting to the last straw, before you really decide to take on a problem. And PMS can be that kind of problem. We get a lot of questions from women with painful PMS: it seems that that, and also emotional symptoms, are the ones which are the hardest to live with. The good news is, you don't have to live with them. Our whole site is dedicated to answering your questions, and providing a natural answer to your problems.
